TereaTV Multi-Connection Plans: How Many Streams Do You Need in the USA & Canada?
A TereaTV multi-connection plan should match your busiest viewing hour, not the total number of televisions and phones you own. Once you know that number, the next decision is financial: which subscription length gives you the right combination of upfront cost and commitment?
This comparison brings together the listed prices for one to five connections over one, three, six and twelve months. Use the calculator to check a specific combination, then verify the product and amount at checkout. Prices were checked on November 1, 2026 and are shown in USD.

All connection counts and subscription lengths
Each cell below is the listed total for the entire duration. The table helps you compare two things separately: the cost of adding another simultaneous stream and the cost of choosing a longer term.
| Connections | 1 month | 3 months | 6 months | 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $15 | $40 | $60 | $120 |
| 2 | $25 | $50 | $70 | $130 |
| 3 | $30 | $60 | $80 | $140 |
| 4 | $45 | $70 | $90 | $150 |
| 5 | $50 | $80 | $100 | $160 |
For the full product descriptions, see TereaTV pricing. Treat the checkout total and current terms as the final confirmation before payment; a saved comparison should not override a changed offer.
Two connections or three: compare the extra cost
On the current one-month list, two connections cost $25 and three cost $30. That is an additional $5 for the month. For the three-, six- and twelve-month options, moving from two to three connections adds $10 to the listed total for the selected term.
That difference is useful only if you will use the third stream. If two people watch together on one television, they consume one active stream rather than two. If a living-room TV, bedroom TV and tablet each play something at the same time, your peak requirement is three.
Do not buy an extra connection as a proposed fix for a slow player. First determine whether the issue is the account allowance, the device, or the network. An additional stream allowance and playback performance are different questions.
Four or five connections: budget for real overlap
The current monthly totals are $45 for four connections and $50 for five. At the six-month duration, the corresponding totals are $90 and $100. At twelve months, they are $150 and $160.
Write down one realistic busy evening before choosing. For example: one person watches in the living room, another in a bedroom, a third on a tablet and a fourth on a separate television. That is four streams. A phone that is switched off does not add to that count. Ask support how the account rules apply to your intended setup before ordering.
For a more detailed explanation of installed devices versus active playback, read the existing TereaTV connections guide. This article focuses on comparing the plan costs after you have worked out that requirement.
Compare the monthly equivalent without hiding the upfront payment
For two connections, the listed totals are $25 for one month, $50 for three months, $70 for six months and $130 for twelve months. Dividing those totals by duration gives monthly equivalents of $25.00, about $16.67, about $11.67 and about $10.83 respectively.
The lower monthly equivalent comes with a larger upfront commitment. A $130 twelve-month plan is not the same purchasing decision as a $25 monthly plan, even though the monthly comparison figure is lower. Choose the term that fits both your budget and your confidence after testing.
The one-connection six-month and twelve-month options both work out at $10 per month at the listed prices. The longer duration therefore does not add another per-month discount for that particular connection count. Compare the exact row you need rather than assuming every longer option has the same savings pattern.
A practical choice for three household situations
One viewer switching between devices
If only one device plays at any moment, compare one-connection plans first and confirm account rules with support. Owning a TV and a tablet does not automatically mean you need two streams. Close playback on the first device before testing the second.
Two viewers with different schedules
Look at the overlap, not just the number of people. If both normally watch different programmes in the evening, compare two connections. If a third screen occasionally plays independently, decide whether that overlap is frequent enough to justify the additional allowance.
A family with several screens
Count your expected peak, compare the corresponding row in the table and test the actual devices. Do not assume a trial account includes the same number of simultaneous streams as the paid plan you are considering. Ask support which allowance is enabled for the test.
USA and Canada: same comparison, check the currency
The totals in this guide are USD. Canadian customers should confirm the checkout currency and ask their payment provider about conversion or card fees. A price displayed as $50 USD should not be read as $50 CAD.
Location does not replace a compatibility check. Give support the device models and your intended viewing arrangement, and ask about any location or account restrictions. Additional connections do not by themselves confirm permission for use across different households or for business purposes.
See the USA information page or Canada information page for country-focused details. Confirm any specific content requirement directly before you choose a term.
What to test before choosing a longer subscription
- Confirm the trial's active-stream allowance with support.
- Use the same devices and home connection you plan to use after purchase.
- Test at your normal viewing time, within the account's permitted allowance.
- Note whether a problem affects one device, one programme or every stream.
- Resolve account and playback questions before committing to a longer term.
Use the 24-hour trial request when you have time to test. For setup instructions, visit installation help. If playback is interrupted, follow the buffering checks before changing your subscription.
Questions to ask before checkout
- Does this product show the duration and connection count I selected?
- What is the final currency and total?
- When does the subscription start, and how will I receive the account details?
- Can an existing plan be changed later, and what would that cost?
- What renewal and cancellation terms apply to this order?
Do not assume unused time will be credited or a plan can be upgraded automatically. Ask TereaTV support about your existing order before buying a replacement. Keep your order reference, but do not post account passwords publicly.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest two-connection option?
The lowest listed upfront total among the two-connection options is $25 for one month. The twelve-month option has a lower monthly equivalent, but costs $130 upfront. These answer different budget questions.
Does five connections mean five separate customer accounts?
Do not treat a household connection allowance as a reseller package. For selling accounts to customers, review the separate reseller information and confirm the applicable terms.
Can I test all the streams during the free trial?
Ask support what connection allowance your trial has. A paid plan's advertised allowance does not establish how many simultaneous streams are enabled on a trial.
Will extra connections stop buffering?
Not necessarily. They change the permitted simultaneous-stream count. Device or network problems require their own checks, even when the account has enough connections.
Where can I compare the rest of the subscription process?
The TereaTV subscription guide covers trials, devices, checkout and choosing a duration. Use this page when you need the detailed connection-price comparison.
Choose the plan that matches your viewing
Count simultaneous streams, compare the total commitment, and test within the allowed trial limits. Then use the calculator's plan link or the pricing page to confirm the exact product before payment.
